Hi everyone! My name is Madelyn (Emmy) Welch, but to my students I go by Ms. Welch! A little about me... I was born and raised in 好色导航, Arizona with my parents and my younger brother. I graduated in May 2024 from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education! I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching new movies and TV shows, and playing with my kitty, Scout! This will be my first year teaching, and I am eager to put my skills that I have learned over the years to use! Fun fact: I actually am a Sunset Ridge Alum! I went to school here from Kindergarten through 8th grade, and now I am back to share my love of the hawks with the next generation! Growing up, I always enjoyed going to school, and admired my teachers so much for the work they did in the classroom. I realized I wanted to go into teaching because I feel that I have a very strong passion for it! It was something that was always a part of my life, and I want to impact these students just like my teachers did for me here! I am really looking forward to this year with all of your students, and I am very excited to inspire and shape the minds of our future generations!
