Greetings from Diamond Canyon School, Student Support Services!

I hope you are all safe and healthy. My name is Kellene Coffey. This is my fifth year at Deer Valley School District as the speech-language pathologist for the 2024 – 2025 school year. I am very excited about returning to Diamond Canyon and working with amazing Coyote students. I am looking forward to another successful year.

My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns differently. My job as a speech-language pathologist is to help students discover ways to better communicate. I believe in hands-on experiences and learning creatively to obtain communication skills and apply what they’ve learned in speech sessions to real-life situations. Therefore, I have attached a link to a short form to help establish rapport with your child.

Collaboration, cooperation, and open communication between home and school are keys to building a strong foundation for a successful school year.
