Welcome to 7th Grade Math!  My name is Mrs. McGowan.  I am a new Coyote this year but not new to teaching.  This will be my 16th year as a teacher and my 7th year in the Deer Valley District. I love teaching math and I make it my goal each year for your students to love math too!  (Which can be hard for middle schoolers!)  I have two boys that will be here at DC, one in 6th and one in 8th. I also have a daughter who is in her last year at ASU.  My husband and I love being a part of the Anthem community.  Our kids are active in football, basketball, and lacrosse, so you will probably see us around town!  I love seeing my students and families while I'm out and about, so feel free to say hello!  I am looking forward to a great year with you and your Coyotes!
