• Orchestra students will have the opportunity to learn bowed stringed instruments - violin, viola, cello and bass. Students start the program as beginners. With practice and patience, orchestra students become advanced musicians, capable of creating beautiful music and enhancing life around them. The 7th & 8th Grade Orchestra is an award-winning ensemble that performs at various events in the community. We even make an annual trip to Disneyland to participate in their educational workshops!
• General Music students will have weekly classes during which they will focus on the many aspects that create the music we hear around us in our daily lives.  This will include: steady beat, rhythm, melody, harmony, note reading, and much more!  3rd graders will participate in an introduction to violin and recorders throughout the year.  There's always so much going on in the world of music.  We will have fun exploring it together! 
• Mariachi students will explore the sounds and culture of this unique form of Mexican folk music. Participants will already have experience on their instruments, so they can focus on the new style. They will perform at concerts and around the community.
