Reading Horizons Elevate is a scientifically based reading intervention program for 4th grade students and beyond. This program uses an explicit and sequential formula for breaking down words. Multi-sensory strategies are used to help students retain information that is presented when decoding words. Similar to Read 180 and Math 180, students learn using Core 4 instruction (review, instruction, dictation and transfer). This is a combination of direct instruction, small group and individual practice.
