    Welcome to Mr. Currier's website. I am a 4th grade teacher at Highland Lakes School. 

    Week 7 - a few dates to remember:

    Week 7 in Science - This week in Science we'll review the last couple of LABs and look at our guiding Phenomenon (the Rhino fossil found in the corn field), and how it relates to the LAB work and investigations we've done so far. Students will doing a writing assessment using the CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) method, with the topic of "mountains living forever". We'll end the week learning about rivers and streams. 

    Week 7 in Social Studies - This week students will complete the DBQ writing assessment and wrap-up the MesoAmericans section of our curriculum.
