Welcome to Sandra Day O'Connor! 

I'm very happy to be here with all of you. We will have many exciting adventures together.

This is my 13th year teaching Special Education.  I spent my first 2 years teaching at Copper Canyon High School in Tolleson High School District. I moved to Deer Valley District after that and taught at K-8 schools in the district for the past 8 years. I have taught at Sunset Ridge, Norterra Canyon, Sonoran Foothills and this is my third year at O'Connor.

I moved to Arizona 16 years ago from Chicago, IL. I got tired of all the cold wintery days and decided to move to some place warmer. I chose Arizona because of my visit to the Grand Canyon. I fell in love with the view and decided this is where I wanted to be.

I have a daughter who is a junior at O'Connor with me this year.  

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and shopping with my daughter.

I look forward to teaching and learning from everyone. We will have a great school year together!
