I love being part of the Highland Lakes Family. This school year will mark my 32nd year as a teacher and my 27th year teaching in Deer Valley. During this time I have taught elementary, middle school, and high school levels with an emphasis in mathematics. In addition to teaching, I am also an alumni to DVUSD. My Journey started when I was 5 years old as a kindergartner at Park Meadows and continued through high school as one of the first graduating classes of Deer Valley High School.
For fun, our family are huge Cardinal fans. We love our team and enjoy spending our Sunday afternoons cheering them on. This year we are looking forward to a winning season and are hopeful we will be watching them take it all the way to the Super Bowl.
