    Monitoring Grades and Assignments: 

    To get you set up if you want to monitor their work progress in Canvas. PowerSchools is where you can check their grades.

    Apps:

    I also occasionally send them important information via the Remind app. This app is a way I can contact their kids by text but hides the phone numbers of both recipients for safety. Parents are encouraged to sign up and receive the announcements that the student receives to better ensure success. You can find the sign-up information for your kids' class on this site, under "Student Section" > select students' class > scroll under "Apps Needed". 

    Parental Signatures: 

    On occasion, I will show movies that apply to the content but are also entertaining to enhance their understanding of the material. I will be sending occasional permission slips for parental signatures for movies that are rated PG-13, so keep an eye out for those.

    Save the date:

    Meet the teacher night will be Thursday August 18th, 2022 from 6:00-7:30pm.

     Parents will follow their student's schedules and there will be ten minutes per class period that evening.  

    The schedule will be as follows:
    Period 1: 6:00 - 6:15pm
    Period 2: 6:20 - 6:30pm
    Period 3: 6:35 - 6:45pm
    Period 4/5: 6:50 - 7:00pm
    Period 6: 7:05 - 7:15pm
    Period 7: 7:20 - 7:30pm
