My name is Courtney Duprest. I am married to my wonderful husband, Brett, who runs his own pool clearning and repair company. He and I have an extremely energetic, funny, and amazing 7 year old son, Ethan. He will be attending 2nd Grade here at HL this year!! When we are not busy taking him to baseball and hockey games and chasing him around we are traveling, reading, and enjoying friends and family.

I went to the University of Arizona and received my Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics. I worked as a stock broker for Charles Schwab for a year before I figured out that that was not my cup of tea. My mom had been a teacher (most of the time in Kinder) for 35+ years, so I knew I'd always end up in education. I went back to school to get my teaching certificate and my Masters in Education. I have my Masters in Reading and Literacy and many endorsements including one in gifted education. I have been teaching for 20 years.

I am extremely excited to get this new school year started! I am even more excited to get to know you all and all of your littles. We are going to make this year one to remember by having as much fun as possible. All while pushing ourselves to go above and beyond and to learn, learn, learn! I cannot wait to be your teacher this year!
