My name is Kimberly Howey and I am starting my 24th year of teaching in the Deer Valley Unified School District.  I have been in first grade for 14 years and I have previously taught third and fourth grade.  I graduated from Arizona State University West and hold a Master’s degree in elementary education.

            I have been married for almost 17 years to my amazing husband Ryan.  We have a son, Tucker, who will be 16 in January.  He will start driving this year and my mom heart is not ready.  He is continuing with his travel hockey team this year, the Jr. Sun Devils, and we are extremely excited.  I do love being a hockey mom.  We also have a daughter, Savannah, who will be 13 in October. She is entering 7^th grade and is such a go-getter.  She loves cheer leading and gymnastics, and I am always so proud of her accomplishments.
