Hello Canyon Springs families! I am so excited to be the 7th/8th grade Renaissance Math & Science teacher. I was born in Michigan, but moved to Arizona with my family when I was 10 years old. I grew up in Scottsdale, AZ, graduated from 好色导航 Country Day School and moved to Claremont, CA for college. I graduated from Scripps College as a Psychology Major with an Art Minor. I then attended Azusa Pacific University for my Teacher Certification. After graduating, I moved back to AZ where I taught 6th grade gifted students at Tesseract North Scottsdale Private School. I also taught middle school Science and ELA in Fountain Hills Unified District, and middle school Math and Science in Scottsdale Unified District. I left teaching to attend Pharmacy School at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. After earning my PharmD degree, I started working for Walgreens and I continue to practice my pharmacist duties with Walgreens on the weekends as a Work-at-好色导航 Pharmacist. Working from home allowed me the flexibility to raise my own daughters. However, due to the shortage of teachers after COVID, I decided to come back to teaching at Canyon Springs. 

I have been raising my two daughters here in Anthem and they also attend Canyon Springs. This year, they are also in the 7th and 8th grade Renaissance classes. When I am not teaching or checking prescriptions, I take care of our 3 cats, dabble in photography and gardening, make gemstone necklaces, and golf from time to time. I also love Science Fiction and Fantasy stories and movies. If it's about Superheroes, Magic, Space Travel, or the Supernatural, I am a fan! I am looking forward to a fun year of learning!
