Hello and welcome to 2nd grade!
My name is Tricia McCormick and I am honored to be your child's teacher this school year! This will be my 24th year in education, with experience in Kindergarten, First grade, Literacy Specialist and English Language Specialist working with second language learners. I am looking forward to partnering with you to make this year successful academically and socially for your child. I am a big fan of good manners, caring for others and promoting independence and responsibility in the classroom.
My family includes my husband of 32 years, Mike, my son Austin and his wife Betsy, and my son Mason. We became first time grandparents last year and are just over the moon crazy about our sweet Ellie!
I enjoy traveling, shopping for treasures in antique stores, reading, music from all decades, drinking coffee, Disneyland, the beach and ocean, watching the San Francisco Giants and being with family. I look forward to getting to know you and your child better!
