Hello families. I am extremely excited about starting my third year teaching 7/8 Renaissance at Canyon Springs STEM Academy and my 30th year of teaching. I am originally from New York City (the Bronx) and moved to Arizona the day after my wedding in 2001. I taught in the Cave Creek district and the Paradise Valley district prior to coming to Canyon Springs.

I earned my BA in English Literature from ASU and my M.Ed. in Education from Long Island University.

My husband, Matt, is an attorney, and we have two wonderful children, Andy (18) and Piper (15). I am an animal lover, and we have three rescued dogs as well as a sulcata tortoise.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy doing Pilates, gardening and tending to my indoor plants, making gemstone jewelry, and reading.
