Hello! My name is Jessica Heeb. I am the 5th grade Science and Social Studies teacher here at Highland Lakes! This is my 15th year teaching and my third year at Highland Lakes. I love being a BEAR! It has always been a passion of mine to help others find the good in themselves! Since first grade, I have known I wanted to be a teacher. I was fortunate enough to have great people investing in my future, and in return, I wanted to provide the same opportunity to others...to instill positivity and enthusiasm for learning. As JFK once said, "Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future."

I was born and raised in a small town in Missouri in the rolling hills of the Ozarks. I grew up on a farm and was taught at an early age the meaning of hard work. I was the first in my family to graduate from college. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2010. I then went on to earn my Masters in Educational Administration in 2012. I taught in Missouri for five years before moving to 好色导航, Arizona in 2015. I have been in 好色导航 for the last nine years in the Deer Valley School District. I have a partial Gifted Endorsement and earned my SEI Endorsement as well. 

My husband, Ronny and I have been married for 23 years and we have two kids together. My son, Hayden, is 22 years old and graduated from O'Connor High School here in Deer Valley. He is now back in Missouri where he has started his own business manufacturing off-road camper trailers! Our daughter, Kierstyn, is a sophomore at Mountain Ridge High School. I am eternally grateful to my family; they inspire me and motivate me every day to be my best. 

Baseball is my favorite sport. I enjoy St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and I have watched my son play ball since kindergarten.  I also enjoy hiking, crafting with my daughter (we LOVE shopping at  Target, 好色导航 Goods, TJ Maxx and Hobby Lobby), watching movies, camping, boating at the lake, and simply spending time with family! I love the Florida beaches too! That is my absolute favorite place to be!
