Wolfpack!

I'm so excited about being your 8th grade social studies teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. I will also be teaching announcements. This will be my fourth year teaching and second in Arizona after moving from Texas in 2022. I have been teaching middle school social studies since 2020 and am looking forward to being a member of the Canyon Springs family.

I love to teach and also have a passion for coaching baseball and basketball. Before teaching, I worked in professional baseball and basketball as a journalist and broadcaster. I coach local youth sports after school and in the summer. I'm also a movie lover, especially of Star Wars, Marvel and Batman. I also love to read and write and am a published author.

I can't wait to share my love and passion for social studies with you all and I am looking forward to a great school year!
