I am excited about starting my second year at Highland Lakes! I am a certified K-8 educator that has worked with many different grade levels through the years. My family has recently retired from active duty military status but while active duty, we lived in Nevada (twice), Japan, Florida, Virginia, Arizona, Texas, and Georgia. We have chosen Arizona to settle in permanently, and I am proud to have made Highland Lakes my permanent school home.

When I am not teaching, you can find me at home with my family! I have an amazing husband and two wonderful kids. My oldest is a junior at Deer Valley High School and my youngest will be in 7th grade here at Highland Lakes. We also have two crazy Boston Terriers that keep us entertained with their antics. 

I am looking forward to working together with all my students and their families to have a wonderful school year!
