Hi! My name is Kara Kadotani. This will be my 9th year teaching 7th grade science at Sonoran Foothills. I also taught science for two years in the Renaissance Gifted program at Highland Lakes School and in the Cave Creek Unified School District. I am grateful to be a part of the amazing 7th grade team here at Sonoran Foothills. I graduated summa cum laude from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. I have a 24 year old daughter pursuing her PhD at ASU. My mission is to help students incorporate Critical Thinking skills, use Science and Engineering Practices and promote Scientific Inquiry into their everyday lives through relevant, relatable, and fun learning practices.
