Hello Second Grade Parents,

My name is Mrs. Carrie Moric and I am thrilled to embark on my 21st year of teaching here at Sonoran Foothills. Over the years, I have had the joy of teaching students from kindergarten through fifth grade, and this will be my fifth year specifically teaching second grade.

Outside of the classroom, I cherish spending time with my wonderful family. My husband and I live on a ranch with our three kids, a dog, a barn cat, chickens, and ducks! Living on a ranch allows us to enjoy nature every day, and we love taking care of our animals.

When I’m not busy with school or ranch activities, you can often find me immersed in a good book. Reading is one of my greatest passions, and I'm always eager to discover new stories and adventures. I also enjoy staying active through walking and tending to my garden. Something about tending to my garden brings me a sense of peace, and calmness.

I am truly excited to meet each of your children and embark on this journey together in second grade. I am confident that we will have an amazing year filled with learning, growth, and fun memories.
