This year will be my 13th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, second, and fourth grade. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO in 2007. Shortly after graduation we moved to Arizona, where I worked in the Cartwright District for six years, teaching both kindergarten and second grade. For my seventh year of teaching we moved back to Colorado, where I taught second and fourth grade. I feel like I have really found my home in fourth grade. I am so excited to be back in fourth grade this year and to continue to be apart of the Sierra Verde family!!

My husband, Tanner and I have been married for almost 11 years. He is an Assistant Principal in the Glendale Union High School District. We have two amazing children, Peyton who is 7 and will be attending second grade at Sierra Verde and Cal who is four, who will be attending preschool three days a week. We also have a dog named Mae who is 14. I really enjoy spending time with my family (who all live in AZ now), traveling, trying new restaurants, shopping, and learning new things. I love living in Arizona and enjoying all the great things the city has to offer.
