Welcome to Kindergarten! 

I love anything and everything about Disney. I love taking vacations to the beach.  In fact, I have gone to the beach every year since I was a baby.  My best friend Amy and I started an annual beach vacation tradition that we take with our families.  I have three kids.  Dilan is an amazing photographer, Haylee is an artist and will be a sophomore at Colorado State University and Addisen will be a senior in High School. I have two fur babies named Phineas and Charlee.  In my spare time, I love watching football on Sundays.  Fly Eagles Fly!  You will also find my bestie Amy and I at Dutch Bros on sticker day.

I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.  I have been in a classroom since 2016.  I began my teaching career as a substitute teacher.  In 2017-2018, I was a long-term gifted substitute at Norterra Canyon.  I worked with 1st - 6th grade students.  I then moved to Sunset Ridge where, for the next two years, I worked as a Paraprofessional in Junior High and Level C.  I then moved to the Developmental Preschool as a Paraprofessional, where I gained even more experience working with 3 - 5-year-olds.  I taught first grade at Sunrise last year and am so excited about teaching Kindergarten this year!

As a teacher, I am very patient, flexible and open-minded. I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making mistakes, as this is part of the learning process. I want my students to feel safe, be kind and feel like we are a family.
