Hello!  I am one of the two 4th grade teachers here at Sunrise Elementary.  I began my career in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist and then went into Health Care Administration and Health Care Education.   When I was able to, I stayed at home with my kids. I home schooled them for several years and then began substituting in their regular schools.  Finally, I decided that I loved educating elementary students more than the medical field and here I am!  

I primarily connect with parents via DOJO for messages etc.  I try to be respectful and direct and open.  I welcome parent participation and look forward to an excellent year!
