Welcome

My name is Kelsey Shade, and I'm extremely excited to be your teacher. In my spare time, you can find me spending time with family and friends, working out, hiking, shopping, traveling to the next national park, coaching softball, attending sports games, finding new eats, or baking my famous chocolate chip cookies. 

My Education and Professional Background

I graduated from Northern Arizona University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education, and also earned an endorsement in Structured English Immersion.  I began my teaching career in 2012. This is my twelfth year in education.

Mission Statement

As a teacher, I recognize my responsibility to my classroom. I will focus not only on the curriculum but give my students the skills it takes to succeed in life. I want to relate to my students, teach them in a way they understand, and I will create a family-like environment. I accept my role as a teacher and also pledge my dedication to my students.
