• ABSENCES FROM SCHOOL TO DUE TO ILLNESSES OR INJURY-

Most minor illnesses may only need a few days for child to rest at home with primary care from parent/guardian. If your child has been sick over 3 days or has frequent illnesses- please see your primary care physician for further care. Child may need medications or physician-directed health care plans to keep your child well. Please bring any medical notes from the physician to help support your child's absence from school. Students with excessive or over 5 absences (excused or unexcused) may be reported to administration for further evaluation. Please make sure your students come to school as much as possible in case there are times of illness that may keep them home when required.

If child needs further medical needs for occasional minor health concerns during the school day- please contact Nurse and further communication on medical plan options for child during the school day can be discussed.

If your child has developed a life-alternating chronic illness - please contact Nurse and further communication on medical plans for your child during the school day can be discussed.

The nurse is here to support your child with their medical needs and assist with keeping students at school as much as possible to ensure their academic success.

Please check the Nurse side bar to help direct you on further health needs for your student.
